Job Title: School Counselor Location: They work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster a positive and inclusive school workplace that promotes students' well-being, personal growth, and academic success.

Provide individual and group counseling to address students' personal, social, and emotional challenges.

Academic & Career Guidance

Assist students in setting academic and personal goals.

Guide students in the university and career exploration process, including college applications, scholarships, and career pathways.

Collaborate with external mental health professionals when specialized support is needed.

Child Protection & Safeguarding

Ensure adherence to child protection policies and report any safeguarding concerns.

Promote awareness of student safety and well-being through workshops and training.





Program Development & Implementation

Maintain counseling records, track student progress, and assess the effectiveness of counseling interventions.

Stay updated on best practices in school counseling and mental health support.

Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field .

Experience as a school counselor, preferably in a school setting.

Knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and crisis intervention strategies.

Training in Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or other counseling techniques .

Experience working with multicultural and diverse student populations.
