We are hiring Sales Specialists across multiple locations a leading Japanese biotechnology company renowned for its innovations in life sciences research. The Indian entity, in collaboration with its parent company, provides cutting-edge products and solutions in molecular biology, genomics, cell biology, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) to research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and diagnostic laboratories across India. Headquartered in Delhi, DSS Takara Bio India is committed to empowering scientific research and advancing healthcare through premium reagents, kits, and instrumentation.

Primary Role: This is a techno-commercial role responsible for driving product sales, market development, and technical support across the assigned territory. The role involves working closely with research labs, diagnostic centers, pharma and biotech companies, and academic institutions.

Sales & Business Development

Achieve sales targets for assigned territory and product portfolio (PCR, qPCR, cloning, NGS, cell biology reagents)

Manage key accounts including research institutes, hospitals,



and labs

Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers

Conduct product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and application support

Resolve customer queries with scientific solutions

Customer Engagement & Training

Deliver scientific presentations, seminars, and workshops

Train distributors and internal sales teams on product applications

Work closely with sales, marketing, and application teams

Share market insights and customer feedback

Coordinate with operations for order execution and customer satisfaction

Reporting & MIS

Maintain CRM updates, sales pipeline, and forecasting

Submit regular performance and activity reports

Bacholer's OR Master's degree / PhD in Life Sciences / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Microbiology

Experience

~2 to 6 years of relevant experience in life sciences sales or application support, PhD Fresher may also apply
