Sr. Structural Design Engineer – Design Team

Role Overview
We are looking for a Sr. Structural Design Engineer to lead the structural design and analysis of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems within our design team. You will own the end-to-end design of steel and RCC elements — from initial concept and code compliance through to fabrication drawings, BOMs, and erection-ready documentation — ensuring every structure is buildable, cost-efficient, and manufacturable with minimum on-site skill dependency.
Role in the Team
• Report to the Lead Engineer – Design and collaborate closely with the BIM Lead, estimation, procurement, and site erection teams.
• Serve as the primary structural authority on assigned PEB projects — owning design calculations, code compliance, and drawing approvals.
• Guide and review the work of junior design engineers and detailers, maintaining quality and consistency across deliverables.
• Represent structural engineering in project coordination meetings, design reviews,



and third-party/IITM validation submissions.
• Collaborate with the BIM Lead to ensure structural models, shop drawings, and BOMs are accurate and fabrication-ready.
• Champion DFMA principles within the team — designing for minimum-skill manufacturing and on-site erection at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Analysis
• Design and analyse PEB steel structures, LGSF systems, and RCC elements in compliance with IS 800, IS 875, IS 456, and IS 1893.
• Apply DFMA principles to optimise designs for efficient factory fabrication, module assembly, and in office erection.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, connection designs, anchor bolt layouts, and foundation interface details.
• Coordinate with architects and MEP engineers to integrate structural solutions with overall building design.
Documentation & BOM
• Develop detailed structural BOMs specifying all steel and RCC components with quantit
