Role Description
The General Manager – Operations & Business Coordination will oversee day-to-day academy operations and ensure smooth functioning across academic and administrative departments. This full-time, on-site role, based in Coimbatore, includes managing processes related to admissions, scheduling, infrastructure, and service delivery to students and parents. The individual will coordinate with faculty and staff to align operational activities with academic goals, monitor performance metrics, and implement improvements for efficiency and quality. Responsibilities also include handling customer interactions, addressing queries and concerns, supporting marketing and outreach initiatives, and ensuring adherence to budgets, policies, and compliance standards. The General Manager will lead and mentor teams, foster a collaborative work environment, and support the Academy’s mission of delivering high-impact training and student support.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in General Management,



with the ability to oversee multiple functions and drive operational excellence.
Solid Operations Management and Budgeting skills to manage processes, resources, and financial planning effectively.
Proven Team Management capabilities, including staff supervision, performance monitoring, and cross-functional coordination.
Customer Service experience in an educational or service-oriented environment, with a focus on student and parent satisfaction.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex situations professionally.
Background in education management, coaching institutes, or related sectors is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Education, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Comfort working on-site in Coimbatore, with flexibility to support extended hours during peak academic or admission periods.
