Position description: Join Jindal Stainless Limited's RMHS - E&A; department as an entry-level engineering professional specializing in the mining and metals sector. This role involves supporting the design, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and automation systems critical to stainless steel production processes. The position offers an opportunity to work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement within a dynamic industrial workplace.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems within the stainless steel manufacturing process.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment and control systems.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and technical reports.
Participate in the commissioning and start-up of new electrical and automation equipment under supervision.
Assist in analyzing system performance data to identify opportunities for process optimization and energy efficiency improvements.
Ensure adherence to company safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all engineering activities.
Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals for electrical components.
Engage in continuous learning and development initiatives to stay updated with emerging technologies in electrical and automation engineering.
