Job Description
Duties:
APAC
Implementation and local monitoring of tax policy, best practice,



and minimum operating standards to ensure compliance with corporate tax policy
Identification and management of tax risk and those specifically arising from tax audits. The implementation of procedures to manage and reduce this risk, as part of the Tax Function’s overall risk framework.
Management of the annual tax filing and compliance process for all APAC companies alongside the outsourced tax compliance function to ensure accurate and timely filed tax returns.
Support Finance with the Group’s tax accounting processes, particularly with current and deferred tax calculations
Assisting finance teams with production of supporting documentation for inter-company charges and other transfer pricing matters.
Coordinate CBC notifications and reports to be filed for APAC companies
Provision of day-to-day tax support, working where necessary with tax advisors, to Smiths Detection’s companies in APAC
Support local financial controllers in recent business initiatives, s
