Role Description The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing clinical quality, patient safety, and medical governance across Be Well Hospitals. The CMO will provide strategic direction for medical services,



ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission of accessible and high-quality care, and will work closely with hospital leadership to develop and implement clinical protocols and standards of care. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising medical staff, reviewing complex clinical cases, supporting utilization management, and collaborating with department heads to optimize resource allocation and care pathways. The CMO will lead medical affairs initiatives, including clinical education, policy development, and regulatory compliance, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
