Role Description The Desktop Support Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Asansol. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. The Desktop Support Engineer will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, support printers and peripherals, and perform routine troubleshooting to ensure minimal disruption to users. The role also involves responding to service requests, documenting solutions,



and collaborating with other team members to improve support processes and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve user issues effectively.
Candidates should possess experience in Printer Support and peripheral device setup and maintenance.
Candidates should possess good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, simple terms.
Candidates should possess basic knowledge of operating systems, common productivity software, and network connectivity concepts.
Relevant certifications (such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent) and prior experience in desktop or IT support roles are beneficial.
