About the role
We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes who enjoys building modern, scalable, and reliable cloud-native applications using Java, microservices, Azure, and Kubernetes.
You will be part of a highly collaborative engineering environment where you will design and deliver complex backend services, contribute to architecture and technical direction, and take end-to-end ownership of services running in production.
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on engineering skills with architectural thinking,



operational ownership, and a passion for mentoring engineers and continuously improving technology, processes, and ways of working.
Here's what you'll focus on:
Design, develop, deploy, and operate cloud-native backend services end-to-end.
Build scalable and resilient microservices using Java 11+.
Translate business and technical requirements into robust, maintainable, and cost-effective technical solutions.
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction for complex systems and critical components.
Develop and maintain APIs and distributed services using up-to-date cloud-native patterns.
Work extensively with Microsoft Azure services, containers, and Kubernetes.
Take complete ownership of services across the software lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
