Job Description Job Description – Professor-cum-Director – School of Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (SBFSI) Position Overview We are seeking an accomplished, academically distinguished, and experienced academic leader for the position of Professor-cum-Director for the School of BFSI. The ideal candidate should have a robust academic and research profile, along with proven experience in academic leadership, faculty management, program development, industry engagement, and institutional administration. The candidate will be responsible for providing strategic academic and administrative leadership to the School and strengthening its academic excellence, industry relevance, research orientation, and overall institutional growth. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic academic and administrative leadership for the School of Banking, Financial Services and Insurance and its academic programs. Lead the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs related to Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Finance, FinTech, and allied areas.



Monitor teaching-learning processes, including regular class monitoring, teaching quality, curriculum implementation, student engagement, and learning outcomes. Lead, mentor, and manage faculty members and academic teams, including faculty workload allocation, performance monitoring, mentoring, and professional development. Develop and strengthen industry linkages with banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, NBFCs, FinTech organizations, capital market institutions, and other relevant industry bodies. Promote industry-integrated learning through internships, live projects, guest lectures, certifications, industry visits, and practitioner-led learning initiatives.
