Senior Spine 2D Artist & Video Creator (Remote, Contract)
Are you a master of 2D skeletal animation who also loves bringing gameplay to life through dynamic video? We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Spine 2D Artist for a part time contractual role.
In this unique position, you will split your expertise between high-level character rigging/animation and crafting engaging gameplay trailers and custom cinematic promotional materials.

Role Details
- Position: Senior Spine 2D Artist / Motion Designer
- Experience Required: 3–5 years of professional experience in 2D game animation and video production
- Location: 100% Remote
- Job Type: Part-time / Contractual





What You Will Do
- Rig & Animate: Create top-tier skeletal rigs, mesh deformations, and fluid animations for 2D characters, creatures, and UI elements using Esoteric Spine.
- Asset Preparation: Collaborate with the 2D art team to slice, layer, and prep PSD files for a clean animation pipeline.
- Produce Gameplay Trailers: Edit high-energy gameplay trailers, promotional videos, and teasers using captured in-game footage and custom-created assets.
- Cinematic Animations: Design and animate compelling custom 2D cinematic sequences for marketing, social media, and in-game storytelling.
- Technical Optimization: Optimize bone counts, skin weights, and texture atlases to ensure maximum performance across platforms.
