The Opportunity

This is an chance to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes - Sizewell C - a once-in-a-generation clean energy project that will help power over 6 million homes for decades to come.

Working within the Civil Works Alliance (a partnership between Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke), you'll lead planning and programme management activities across the Main Civil Works, supporting the delivery of one of Europe's largest and most complex infrastructure programmes.

As a Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of planners and driving best-in-class planning, scheduling and programme controls across multiple work packages. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Commercial and Project Controls teams to ensure robust, integrated programmes are developed, maintained and delivered.

What You'll Be Doing





Leading planning and scheduling activities across Main Civil Works packages from pre-construction through to delivery
Managing and developing a team of planners, ensuring high standards of programme quality and consistency
Developing, maintaining and optimising integrated project programmes using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools
Ensuring alignment between planning, commercial and project controls functions, including cost and performance reporting
Driving the implementation of planning standards, governance and best practice across the programme
Supporting the development of construction methodologies, sequencing and logistics strategies
Leading programme reviews, progress reporting and performance analysis with key stakeholders
Identifying programme risks, opportunities and mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery
Managing change control processes, ensuring programme impacts are assessed and communicated effectively
