Role Summary
We are looking for a Finance Analyst who can work at the intersection of finance, data and business operations. The role will involve working with financial and operational data, building reports and dashboards, performing financial analysis, and translating data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Data
Extract, consolidate, clean and structure financial and operational data from multiple sources.
Build structured datasets and data models to support recurring and ad-hoc analysis.
Identify data gaps,
inconsistencies and anomalies and perform necessary validation and sanity checks.
Reports
Develop and maintain MIS, financial and business performance reports and dashboards.
Automate and streamline recurring reporting processes wherever possible.
Present complex datasets in a transparent and actionable format for business stakeholders.
Analysis
Analyse financial and operational performance across revenue, costs, profitability, working capital and other key business metrics.
Perform variance, trend and ratio analysis to identify key drivers of business performance.
Support costing, valuation and other FinOps analyses, including financial sanity checks.
Translate analysis into actionable insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
Business
Partner with Growth, Operations and Finance stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into analytical requirements.
