About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and highly experienced Senior Software Sales Engineer to spearhead our software sales activities across India. The successful candidate will possess a robust technical background in industrial metrology and software solutions,



combined with exceptional commercial acumen and leadership capabilities. This role is pivotal in driving the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation, technical qualification, and quoting to negotiating commercial purchase orders. The Senior Software Sales Engineer will lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, guiding strategic market penetration, cross-selling opportunities, and capturing recent market share aligned with ZEISS's portfolio of CMM machines and advanced metrology software suites.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and sales experience, including:

A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field. An MBA in Sales or Marketing is highly advantageous.
