The incumbent is responsible for the design and continuous enhancement of ISB’s programmes. The role focuses on shaping impactful learning experiences by aligning faculty expertise, market relevance, and evidence-based instructional practices. It requires collaboration across academic and internal teams to ensure each programme is pedagogically strong, contextually relevant, client and learner-centric.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Design & Ownership
- Lead the design of open programmes—from theme scoping and learning architecture to faculty alignment and post-programme review.
- Ensure each programme is anchored in clear learning outcomes, academic rigour, and executive relevance.
2. Learning Innovation
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.
- Integrate experiential pedagogies such as simulations, case discussions, peer learning,
and reflective exercises.
- Maintain standardized templates, design tools, and content structures for quality and scalability.
3. Faculty & Academic Engagement
- Identify and align faculty based on programme themes and target audience needs.
- Facilitate design conversations and co-develop programme structure and flow with faculty.
- Collaborate with ISB’s Research Centres and Centres of Excellence to embed contemporary insights.
4. Learning Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement
- Review feedback and programme data to assess learning effectiveness.
- Recommend refinements to content, structure, and pedagogy based on insights.
- Align designs with ISB’s academic quality and learning impact standards.
5. Portfolio Strategy & Relevance
- Track industry trends and benchmark offerings against peer institutions.
- Recommend current programme themes and refresh existing ones to maintain relevance an
