Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
'- Responsible for integration of the ePowertrain System (electric motor, Battery pack) and its control units (VCU / HCU, BMS, OCDC, EMS, MCU) into the vehicle to complete system-level test and validation.- Responsible for leading the development, integration and testing of demonstration vehicles.- Lead cross-functional integration, ensuring functionality and compatibility across all vehicle systems.- Coordinate multiple demonstration vehicle builds and verification tests simultaneously.- Create and maintain design documentation, including system architecture and flow charts.- Document electric and hybrid powertrain system requirements and decompose them into component and integration requirements for each project.- Manage technical aspects of multiple system integration and validation projects and provide status to integrated project teams.- Interact with internal CFT and external suppliers for successful project completion.- Create and execute electric and hybrid powertrain system/component functionality and reliability validation plans before vehicle insertion.- Support the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test process, including commissioning, test planning and automation.- Participate in summer, winter and high-altitude expedition tests for vehicle-function calibration and verification.- Analyze test results and prepare calibration reports.- Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML to define use cases, functional architecture, interfaces and system behavior.- Establish end-to-end traceability from stakeholder requirements through functions, logical architecture, implementation and validation evidence.- Define and review signal-level requirements and interfaces across CAN, LIN and Automotive Ethernet networks.- Build simulation models and scenario-based tests to validate control logic, state transitions, HMI interactions and system behavior before vehicle testing.- Perform change-impact analysis and maintain consistenc
