This volunteer opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about technology, community building, and alternative approaches to governance.
You will help bring together local participants around issues that matter to their communities and turn shared concerns into practical action.
The role combines event facilitation, community engagement, project coordination, and grassroots organising.
You will create an environment where people can contribute, develop ideas, and progressively take ownership of local initiatives.
You will also introduce participants to decentralised technologies and support experimentation with real-world applications.
The position offers the prospect to collaborate with an international network of contributors while developing your own organising and leadership skills.
A minimum commitment of two hours per week for six months is expected, with a one-year commitment preferred.

Accountabilities:
Facilitate local meet-ups, introduce participants to the movement and its technologies, and guide the group toward meaningful action.
Create an inclusive environment where participants can contribute ideas, develop their skills, and gradually take ownership of initiatives.
Identify and coordinate projects focused on practical, achievable local issues and manage their delivery from planning through completion.
Build relationships within the local community and encourage participation around social, technological, and governance-related challenges.
Communicate the movement's mission, principles, and opportunities in an accessible and engaging way.
Coordinate regularly with core contributors and relevant members of the wider network to share progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Dedicate at least two hours per week for a minimum of six months, with a longer-term commitment of one yea
