Job Title: QA Performance Automation Engineer
The Opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is looking for a QA Performance Automation Engineer to join our agile Enterprise Software R&D; team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications through comprehensive performance testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Product Management, and Architecture teams to identify performance bottlenecks, validate system behavior under load, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions to customers. As a QA Performance Automation Engineer for the Enterprise Software R&D; Unit, you will be part of the respective local department and report to the R&D; Team Manager.




How You'll Make an Impact:
Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
Analyze application performance under various load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability scenarios.
Create and execute API performance tests using Postman and integrate them into performance test workflows.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Grafana and other monitoring tools.
Identify performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure components.
Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to diagnose and resolve performance-related issues.
Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for system optimization.
Prepare detailed performance test reports with findings, trends, risks, and recommendations.
Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and system architecture discussions from a performance perspective.
