About the program: The AWS Student Builder Group Leader internship is a remote role focused on organizing and guiding student participation in AWS-related learnings and workshops across your college campus. Over the course of the year-long partnership, interns coordinate virtual meetups, workshops, and study sessions for student builders while also earning AWS Certification Vouchers and badges. The role includes collaborating with NEXT GEN·TEAM staff to align student activities and sharing regular updates on progress and outcomes. This internship is designed for individuals who are proactive, reliable, and interested in building leadership and community-building skills within a tech-focused student audience.
Position Overview
As an AWS Student Builder Group Leader, you will explore cloud technology, build creative projects, and grow your technical skills. Every group is led by Student Builder Group Leaders (formerly AWS Cloud Club Captains)



who are passionate about bringing their communities to life. With support from AWS, these leaders are responsible for growing their groups, organizing inspiring events, and championing local initiatives that matter to their peers.

Key Responsibilities
Promote AWS Builder Center programs, resources, and opportunities across your campus.
Plan and host campus events, workshops, information sessions, and other community-building activities.
Track outreach activities, event participation, and student engagement.
Participate in program training, check-ins, and required reporting.
Represent AWS Builder Center professionally on campus.
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled at a recognized college, university, or other post-secondary institution.
At least 18 years old.
At least 12 months remaining before your anticipated graduation date.
