Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role
We're looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our design team, responsible for creating electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system documentation using AutoCAD and EPLAN, while supporting installation and technical troubleshooting.

What You'll Do

- Design electrical schematics, P&ID; drawings, and panel layouts using AutoCAD/EPLAN
- Create system calculations (power requirements, load calculations, etc.)
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and system Electrical FDS
- Select and specify switchgear, cables, and components per operating workplace
- Update and maintain as-built drawings and documentation
- Support installation, commissioning, and rectification of technical issues
- Provide technical support to internal teams and end users




- Ensure designs meet IEC standards and company quality/ethics guidelines

What You Bring

- B.E. in Electrical/Electronics or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics
- 23 years' hands-on experience in AutoCAD and/or EPLAN
- Strong grasp of electrical fundamentals (AC/DC, single & three-phase systems, power factor)
- Working knowledge of switchgear (MCB, MCCB, ACB, RCCB, Contactors, OLRs, etc.)
- Experience with motor starters (DOL, Star-Delta, VFD, Soft Starter) and control circuit design
- Familiarity with PLC basics (I/O, addressing, ladder logic) and relay systems
- Practical exposure to cable selection, sizing, and switchgear rating calculations
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- EPLAN Pro Panel / 3D layout experience is a plus
