Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

- Build, enhance, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices based on business and technical requirements.

- Modify and improve existing backend services to increase performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Integrate backend applications with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party APIs.

- Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient communication across microservices and external systems.

- Support API integrations across multiple platforms and external service providers.

- Monitor application performance and ensure smooth operation in high-volume transactional environments.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application code, database interactions, and service response times.

- Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables through comprehensive testing and validation.

- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, UI Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders.

- Work effectively with cross-functional teams within telecom and/or eCommerce environments.

- Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, modules, and system architecture.

- Document enhancements, technical decisions, implementation details, and service modifications.

- Provide timely updates on development progress, risks,



and deliverables.

Requirements and Skills

- 5-9 years of experience in Java backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.

- Strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing RESTful APIs.

- Experience with Spring MVC and Spring JDBC frameworks.

- Robust understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and backend architecture.

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.

- Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning techniques.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong documentation and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Basic understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience with Apache Camel integration framework.

- Exposure to telecom and/or eCommerce domain projects.

- Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.
