About the Role We are building Purvapaksha, a media project focused on the untold history of world religions, civilizations, and geopolitics.

We need someone who loves reading deep history and knows how to turn complex research into compelling, visual video essays. This is ideal for Arts/Humanities graduates, literature/journalism students, or UPSC/State PSC aspirants looking for a productive, flexible side gig that aligns with their study interests.

What You Will Do
Research primary historical sources, civilizational turning points, and geopolitical shifts.
Write structured, narrative-driven scripts (Hinglish or English).
Edit documentary-style video essays using maps, archival footage, sound design, and sharp pacing.

Who We Are Looking For
Background: Arts, History, Political Science, International Relations, Journalism, or actively preparing for UPSC/Civil Services.
Curious by Nature:



You enjoy reading books, long-form essays, and historical papers. You can connect ancient ideas to modern global events.
Creative & Tech-Savvy: Hands-on experience editing videos (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut) with a good sense of pacing, typography, and storytelling.
Bonus: If you run (or have run) your own YouTube channel, Instagram theme page, or blog.

Work & Pay
Format: Remote / Flexible schedule
Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹8,000 / month (based on skill and editing quality)
