This is a project-based, remote role based in New York, NY for a WordPress/Bluehost Developer focused on refreshing an existing website. The developer will review the current site structure, content, and design, then implement updates to improve usability, visual appeal, and performance. Day-to-day tasks include customizing WordPress themes, optimizing page layouts, updating plugins, and ensuring smooth integration with Bluehost hosting services. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, enhancing site security,



and ensuring compatibility across major browsers and devices. The developer will collaborate with school stakeholders to translate requirements into effective web pages and maintain clear documentation of changes and configurations.

*Main qualification is experience developing on a Bluehost/Wordpress website. We are looking to hire a web developer to do a refresh of our current website. Experience developing websites for an education company is preferable.

Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern WordPress theme customization.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development related to WordPress, including plugin configuration, basic PHP, and database interactions as needed.
Demonstrated ability in Responsive Web Design to ensure the site functions well and looks consistent on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
