Skyworks’s RF & Mixed Signals Intelligence (RMI) Business Unit is seeking a Director, Firmware Engineering to lead its wireless engineering team in India comprising of firmware architects, developers and test engineers across various product segments. In this role, you will direct the software development team to support a variety of custom ASIC designs and develop firmware across MAC and Physical layer,
Board Support Packages and Applications layer, interfacing directly with customers’ software stack. On-device AI algorithms in areas of wireless and audio is a much-needed goal of this role. In addition to the technical role, you will be required to work closely with engineering and marketing senior leadership to drive the vision and engage with customers directly to productize the solution through their launch.
Responsibilities
Lead software/firmware design and development in India
Work closely with senior engineering leadership to formulate the best approach to support existing and seed new product ideas
Hire and grow top talent in the India design center
Drive collaboration within the team and across the groups spanning 3 geographies
Push team towards organic innovation and generate IP in the process
