Role Description The Senior Ecologist internship at Galleonbuild is a remote role focused on integrating ecological considerations into building design and planning workflows. Day-to-day tasks include conducting desk-based research on local ecosystems, reviewing site information, and advising on habitat protection and biodiversity enhancement opportunities. The intern will support environmental impact screenings, contribute to internal guidelines on sustainable site design,



and prepare concise ecological notes and reports for project teams. Collaboration with designers and project managers to identify nature-positive design features and mitigation measures is a central part of the role, along with maintaining explicit documentation and participating in virtual meetings.
Qualifications
Ecology and biodiversity expertise, including knowledge of wildlife ecology and habitat assessment.
