About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Business Development Intern who wants to learn how businesses acquire clients, build relationships, and grow.

This is a practical, client-facing role. You will not be limited to making calls or collecting leads you will also get the opportunity to understand client requirements and contribute to live client projects and campaigns.

You may also be involved in upcoming projects such as Jems, where you will work alongside the team on business development, client coordination, research, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
Generate leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, LinkedIn, and other channels.




Reach out to potential clients and introduce Markitro's services.
Understand client requirements, business goals, and pain points.
Schedule meetings and coordinate with prospects.
Maintain and regularly update the lead database/CRM.
Follow up with prospects and maintain qualified communication.
Assist the team in preparing proposals, presentations, quotations, and pitches.
Research industries, competitors, businesses, and potential opportunities.
Support client onboarding and basic client coordination.
Work with the creative and marketing team on live client projects.
Assist with project-related research, planning, execution, and coordination.
Participate in client meetings and understand how real projects are managed.
Contribute to upcoming projects such as Jems and other Markitro client assignments.
Track outreach, leads, meetings, conversions, and overall BD performance.
