We are looking for a proactive and skilled QA Engineer (QA2) with strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web and API-based applications by designing robust test cases, identifying defects, and maintaining automated test suites.
Key Responsibilities
Understandrequirements and prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
Executefunctional, regression, integration, and system testing (both manual and automated).
Develop,maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
Collaboratewith developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality.
Participatein defect triage meetings and provide root cause analysis.
Ensuretimelyand high-quality releases through continuous testing and feedback.
Required Skills
6 Months to 3 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance with strongproficiencyin manual and automation testing.
Solidhands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
Strongunderstanding of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and test management
Experiencein test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit,PyTest, or similar.
Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools
Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Abilityto write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation
Strongproblem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Nice To Have
Exposure toperformance or security testing.
Knowledgeof version control systems like Git.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Experience: 1 – 3 years
