A Telesales Executive is a sales professional responsible for driving company revenue by initiating calls to prospective leads, pitching products or services, and negotiating deals over the phone. They are target-driven individuals who handle customer objections, maintain client databases, and close sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Cold Calling: Reach out to prospective and existing clients using provided call scripts.Product Pitching: Explain the features, advantages, and pricing of products or services clearly and persuasively.
Closing Sales: Negotiate terms, address customer doubts, and successfully secure sales over the phone.
CRM Management: Log call outcomes, update client records, and manage follow-ups using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed individual and team-based monthly/quarterly sales quotas.
Post-Sale Support: Answer queries,
troubleshoot basic issues, and build long-term relationships to promote customer retention.
Qualifications & Requirements Education: Typically a High school diploma, though a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience: Proven track record in telesales, telemarketing, or a similar customer-facing sales role.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication, active listening, and persuasive negotiation skills.
Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with telephone systems, Microsoft Office, and CRM software.
Soft Skills: Highly resilient with the ability to handle rejection, work well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
