BUSINESS ANALYST (IT & IoT PROJECTS)

Position: Business Analyst – IT & IoT Projects

Experience: 2-5 years.

About the Role: We are looking for a Business Analyst to work closely with clients and internal IT/IoT teams to understand requirements, coordinate projects and ensure successful implementation of technology solutions.The role involves client interaction, requirement gathering, project coordination, testing, implementation and handover.

Key Responsibilities

Client Requirement Gathering

- Meet clients and understand business and operational requirements.
- Identify pain points and define the required solution.
- Document and communicate requirements clearly.

IT & IoT Project Analysis

- Understand IoT, software and manufacturing-related requirements.
- Analyse requirements related to machine connectivity, production, downtime, OEE, quality, dashboards and reports.
- Coordinate with technical teams on solution feasibility.

Requirement Documentation

- Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories and process flows.
- Define acceptance criteria and functional requirements.
- Maintain requirement and change documentation.

Bridge Between Client & Technical Team

- Translate client requirements into transparent technical requirements.
- Clarify requirements with developers and IoT engineers.
- Coordinate communication between client and technical teams.

Project Coordination:

- Track requirements, development, testing and implementation.
- Coordinate with development,



IoT, QA and implementation teams.
- Follow up on issues, dependencies and pending actions.

Factory / Site Visits

- Visit customer sites to understand processes and requirements.
- Interact with production, quality, maintenance, IT and management teams.
- Support IoT implementation and validation.

Client Communication

- Conduct client meetings and project reviews.
- Provide project updates.
- Follow up on client actions and pending requirements.
- Maintain strong client relationships.

Change & Scope Management

- Analyse new/change requirements from clients.
- Assess impact on scope, cost and timeline.
- Coordinate internal approval and documentation.

Project Handover

- Support final validation, training and documentation.
- Coordinate customer handover and sign-off.
- Ensure smooth transition to support/AMC.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or related field.

- MBA / Business Analytics / Project Management certification is an advantage.
