We are a new Digital Marketing Company based out of Byculla, Mumbai. Looking to hire a Video editor who can transform raw footage into polished videos that highlights the various requirements of the clients.

Emphasize brand consistency and visual storytelling tailored to platforms like Instagram, YouTube which will be shared on all social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest and other platforms.

The following are the skills that are required for the position.

1. Technical & Software SkillsA strong candidate should be proficient in:

- Video editing tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
- Motion graphics & animation: After Effects, Canva (for quick templates), CapCut (bonus for short-form content)
- Audio editing: Basic sound mixing, noise reduction
- Color correction & grading
- Formats & optimization: Understanding aspect ratios, compression, export formats for IG, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Photo editing skills : Photoshop,
- Auto Cad skills :- Creating 3D's of various products

2. Social Media-Specific Editing SkillsBecause this is for a social media management company, candidates should know:

- Short-form storytelling (5–60s attention-grabbing edits)
- Trends awareness (TikTok trends, reels transitions,



meme editing)
- Understanding of each platform’s best practices:

- TikTok: fast pacing, captions, sounds
- Instagram Reels: transitions, hooks, formatting
- YouTube Shorts: retention-focused editing
- YouTube long-form: pacing, jump cuts, B-roll

3. Creative & Design Skills

- Solid sense of pacing and story flow
- Ability to add captions, subtitles, emoji overlays, sound effects
- Good understanding of branding, typography, and color schemes
- Ability to transform raw footage into highly engaging content

4. Soft Skills

- Ability to take feedback, collaborate with social media managers
- Strong time management (fast turnaround required in social media)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Self-driven and creative problem solver

5. Experience(Not mandatory but preferred)

- Prior experience editing for influencers, brands, or ad agencies
- Portfolio of social media-style videos
- Understanding of organic + paid social formats
- Knowledge of copyright rules (music, content usage)
