As an Electronics Hardware Assistant Manager, you will lead a team of hardware engineers responsible for developing reliable, high-performance electronic systems for demanding applications. You will be involved throughout the product lifecycle, from understanding hardware requirements and defining system architecture to design, component selection, validation, certification, and production readiness.
The role requires close collaboration with software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful product development and timely program execution. You will provide technical direction, participate in design reviews, resolve complex engineering challenges, and ensure hardware solutions meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the electronics hardware engineering team,



providing technical guidance and supporting professional development.
Own hardware design and development activities across architecture, circuit design, PCB development, validation, and product integration.
Define high-speed digital architectures using microcontrollers, microprocessors, and FPGA-based systems.
Design and review systems incorporating Xilinx, Altera, or Actel FPGAs, associated tools, IPs, and supporting interfaces.
Work with components including DACs, ADCs, FPGAs, buffers, transceivers, LDOs, point-of-load regulators, 1553 devices, microprocessors, and microcontrollers.
Develop and review mixed-signal hardware architectures and ensure appropriate signal integrity and system performance.
Work with communication and interface protocols including USB, Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, RS232, and MIL-STD-1553.
Drive hardware architecture decisions while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and regulat
