Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support of Workday HCM solutions. The consultant will work closely with HR, business, and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and ensure successful delivery across the HCM landscape. Current Workday consulting JDs commonly emphasize requirements gathering, configuration, business processes, security, reporting, testing, integrations, data conversion, and post-production support. Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from HR and business stakeholders.
Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM, including organizations, staffing models, job profiles, positions, supervisory organizations, and worker data.
Configure Workday Business Processes, including Hire, Onboarding, Change Job, Transfer, Termination, and other HR transactions.
Develop and maintain Workday security groups, domain policies,



business-process security, and role assignments.
Create and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and notifications.
Support functional areas such as Compensation, Perks, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent, and Payroll, depending on project requirements.
Participate in end-to-end Workday implementations from requirements and design through configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, process documentation, and user guides.
Lead or support SIT, UAT, regression testing, data validation, and defect resolution.
Work with integration and technical teams on EIB, Core Connectors, Workday integrations, and data migration activities.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend sustainable solutions.
Support Workday releases by assessing new functionality and identifying opportunities
