The Electrical Supervisor will oversee the installation, testing, maintenance, and replacement of consumer energy meters, while ensuring the smooth distribution of power. This role involves managing a field team, resolving technical discrepancies, minimizing distribution losses, and maintaining high safety standards.

1. Meter Management Group (MMG) Operations

Installation & Commissioning: Supervise the installation of single-phase, three-phase, and Smart/AMR (Automated Meter Reading) meters for domestic, commercial, and industrial consumers.

Testing & Calibration: Oversee laboratory and field testing of meters to check accuracy, identify defects, and rectify faulty equipment.

Sealing & Security: Ensure proper sealing of meter boxes and terminal covers to prevent unauthorized access and energy theft.





Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve consumer complaints regarding quick meters, high bills, burnt meters, or stopped displays.

2. Distribution Network & Maintenance

Network Operations: Supervise the operation and maintenance of Low Tension (LT) and High Tension (HT) distribution lines and poles.

Transformer Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of Distribution Transformers (DTRs), checking oil levels, breathers, fuses, and load balancing.

Breakdown Management: Lead field teams to quickly identify, isolate, and repair faults during power outages or cable faults.
