About the Role

One of our existing clients — a leading player in the domestic courier and cargo industry — is looking for an Airline Operations Manager to manage end-to-end air cargo operations. This role requires robust command over domestic courier and cargo movement by air, hands-on experience coordinating flight loading, shipment tracking, DG (Dangerous Goods) handling, and strong working relationships with airline partners.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and connect cargo load-in with airline flights, ensuring timely and accurate booking of shipments

Track and monitor shipments end-to-end to ensure smooth, issue-free movement across the air network

Handle and process Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments in full compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Liaise and communicate regularly with airline partners on space allocation, schedules, and issue resolution

Negotiate freight rates and contracts with airlines to optimize cost and service levels

Communicate proactively with clients on shipment status, delays, and resolutions





Update and manage shipment data on internal software/systems accurately and in real time

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to flight delays, cargo rejections, or documentation gaps

Ensure compliance with airline, customs, and regulatory documentation requirements

What We're Looking For

Strong command and hands-on experience in the domestic courier & cargo industry

Proven experience coordinating air cargo load-in and flight-wise shipment planning

Ability to track and manage shipments end-to-end without operational issues

DG (Dangerous Goods) handling experience is mandatory

IATA certification required

Strong rate negotiation skills with airlines and vendors

Good communication skills — verbal and written — for coordinating with clients, airlines, and internal teams

Comfortable working with operational/tracking software and updating systems in real time

Sound educational background relevant to logistics, aviation, or supply chain
