Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for automotive components and systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.
- Evaluate manufacturability and feasibility of designs by collaborating with production, tooling, and materials teams to ensure cost-effective and scalable solutions.
- Conduct design validation activities, including simulations, tolerance analysis, and prototype reviews to ensure performance and reliability.
- Support production teams by providing technical input and design clarifications during the manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Participate in design reviews and cross-functional meetings, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in product development.
- Maintain design documentation and version control,



ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).

Skills Required:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX for modelling, drafting, and design analysis.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes (e.g., casting, machining, injection molding).
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, GD&T; specifications, and BOMs.
- Experience with PLM systems and design change management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset for working in multidisciplinary teams.
