FactSet is currently seeking a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer to join the global Security team. This is a hands-on role that requires a broad, high level of technical expertise with a focus on endpoint security. The Senior Endpoint Security Engineer will work with groups within the organization to design, deploy, and configure technical controls to protect FactSet endpoints. The individual in the role will help drive FactSet's endpoint security strategy and be a key contributor to several critical projects to enhance the security posture of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical SME for the Endpoint Security Engineering team; responsible for the design, deployment, and initial configuration of the next generation endpoint solution(s)
- Work closely with the Security Operations team and assist with Intrusion Response activity by defining and deploying appropriate security countermeasures
- Work closely with key IT partners and stakeholders to ensure security tool deployment balances security best practices, corporate usability, and stability




- Be responsible for the design, deployment, and initial configuration of security endpoint solutions
- Evaluate systems with the goal of identifying and remediating existing gaps in vendor solutions and platform technologies
- Performs product evaluations, recommend, and implement products/services for endpoint security. Validates and tests security architecture and design solutions to produce detailed engineering specifications with recommended vendor technologies
- Develops, tests and operates enterprise endpoint detection response, and software deployment tools
- Reviews and recommends the installation, modification, replacement of hardware, or software components and any configuration change(s) that affects security

Job Requirements:
- Overall, 5-7 years relevant experience with at least 2 years in endpoint security engineering
- Linux/UNIX, Windows, and/or Mac system administration
