The Role

Measurement sits with the engineers on the engagement, because it measures what they deliver. You own the data architecture and the measurement on APLYD’s engagements:



what is measured before anything is delivered, what the dashboards report, and whether the figures stand up to review by senior officials.

Core Job Responsibilities

Own the data architecture on engagements. You set the warehouse or lakehouse pattern, the modelling and semantic layer, orchestration, and how government data is ingested, reconciled and versioned, working within the infrastructure, procurement rules and hosting constraints the institution already has.
Define indicators and KPI frameworks for the programmes we support, reporting performance by population subgroup as well as in aggregate.
Instrument deployed systems in production. Track drift, subgroup performance, override rates and drop-off, and report problems to the programme leader promptly.
Build dashboards and decision interfaces that government counterparts use in their own review meetings.
Own data quality: ingestion, validation, reconciliation against
