Role Summary

The Alliances portfolio plays a critical role in extending Delta's network and enabling customer, operational, loyalty, and commercial capabilities across alliance, joint venture, codeshare, and strategic partner relationships.

The Portfolio Architect owns the technical direction and architectural decisions for the Alliances portfolio. This role partners closely with business leaders, product teams, engineering organizations, and external airline and technology partners to design secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions that enable seamless integration and collaboration across organizational boundaries. The architect is responsible for ensuring technology investments align with business strategy, enterprise standards, and partner ecosystem requirements.

Role Responsibilities

Architectural Design: Develop and maintain architectural blueprints for solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, enterprise standards, and partner ecosystem strategies.
Alliance Ecosystem Architecture:



Define architecture patterns and roadmaps that enable customer, operational, loyalty, and commercial capabilities across Delta and alliance partner ecosystems.
Partner Integration Strategy: Lead the design of integrations utilizing APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging platforms, and data-sharing solutions to support alliance, joint venture, codeshare, and third-party partnerships.
Technical Solution Leadership: Analyze internal and external application architectures, APIs, interface specifications, data models, schemas, and integration patterns to develop end-to-end solutions that meet business and technical objectives.
API & Partner Onboarding: Lead onboarding of external consumers to Delta APIs and enable Delta applications to consume partner-owned APIs and services while ensuring secure and scalable integration patterns.
Cloud Integration: Leverage cloud-native platforms and up-to-date engineering
