We are looking for a highly skilled Ab Initio Developer to join our data engineering team . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL development , data integration , and performance optimization using Ab Initio .
Key Responsibilities:
- ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Ab Initio's Graphical Development Setting (GDE) to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Data Integration: Build, maintain, and optimize data workflows to enable seamless data flow across multiple systems.
- Data Transformation: Implement data cleansing, enrichment, and transformation logic within Ab Initio graphs .
- Metadata Management: Utilize Ab Initio's metadata features to document data lineage, transformations, and definitions for compliance and transparency.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize ETL processes for efficiency, scalability, and performance , resolving bottlenecks when necessary.
- Error Handling:



Develop error tracking and logging mechanisms to manage ETL job failures effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data integration solutions.
- Version Control: Use Git or similar version control systems to manage Ab Initio code and collaborate with team members.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Ab Initio graphs, processes, best practices, and standards .
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve ETL-related issues , conduct root cause analysis , and support the team as needed.
