About the Role

PubMatic is looking for engineers who can design and implement highly scalable
backend components and services for the OpenWrap Ad Server using Golang. If you

What You'll Do

* Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services
using Golang in a Linux/UNIX setting.
* Use best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs
meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work.
* Demonstrated ability to self-direct and work independently.
* Demonstrate work ownership and focus to do deliver on time.
* Be the owner of one or more functionality module and point of contact for
it.
* Write clean, modular, and loosely coupled code while following best practices
in software development.




* Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code
reviews, and continuous improvement.
* Work with teams to achieve desired goals.
* Demonstrate timely and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We'd Love for You to Have

* Four plus years of development experience in Go, Linux/UNIX environment. Good
to have experience with JAVA language.
* Proficiency in the implementation of algorithms and the use of advanced data
structures to solve problems in computing. A solid knowledge in the
principles of computer science is desired.
* Good experience in building complex and scalable solutions.
* Ability to find optimal solutions and innovative ideas.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Being able to use generative AI-based tools and IDE for getting work done.
* Understanding of different models at the basic level.
