Job Purpose
The Service Quotation Application Analyst acts as the key link between business stakeholders and digital delivery teams, translating business needs into scalable Quotation solutions. The role focuses on requirement definition, solution design support, backlog grooming, testing, and adoption—ensuring Quotations (and related platforms such as Configurator, Salesforce and ERP integrations) effectively support end‑to‑end business processes.
This role is critical in large‑scale transformation programs, continuous improvement releases, and global rollouts across Services
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements across configuration processes (Services, Contracts, Installed Base, Chance Management).
Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.




Ensure requirements are clearly understood by delivery teams and aligned with global templates and reference models.
Maintain traceability between business requirements and delivered functionality.
Solution Design & Functional Expertise
Act as the functional expert for Quotations and adjacent platforms (ServiceMax, Configurator, integrations with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle).
Collaborate with Architects and Solution Leads to define end‑to‑end solution designs.
Validate solution options against business needs, scalability, and long‑term sustainability.
Contribute to design reviews and ensure adherence to Quotations and enterprise best practices.
Backlog Management & Agile Delivery
Work closely with Product Owners to groom and prioritize the Quotations backlog.
Support sprint planning by clarifying scope, dependencies, and functional details.
Participate actively in agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
Ensure delivered features meet acceptance criteria and business
