About The Role
MaxIQ is looking for an experienced Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst who can translate product ideas and customer requirements into explicit, actionable requirements for engineering.
You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, QA, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to take initiatives from initial requirements through delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding complex business workflows, asking the right questions, identifying edge cases, and turning ambiguity into well-defined product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Work with Product leadership and stakeholders to understand product requirements, customer problems, and business objectives.
Translate high-level product ideas into detailed PRDs, user stories, workflows, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring engineering always has clearly defined and prioritized work.
Break large product initiatives into smaller, well-scoped features and user stories that can be effectively delivered by engineering.
Conduct requirement discussions with customers, Customer Success, Sales, and internal stakeholders when deeper business understanding is required.
Identify edge cases, dependencies, permissions, data requirements, and workflow implications before development begins.
Lead or actively participate in backlog refinement and grooming sessions with Engineering and Design.
Work closely with Engineering throughout development to clarify requirements and resolve functional questions quickly.
