About the Role
Hoko Hoko Media is looking for a Social Media Manager who is creative, proactive and eager to learn.
You'll get the opportunity to work across different industries, audiences and types of content, giving you exposure to everything from consumer brands and technology to sustainability, business and culture.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just wait for a content calendar to arrive. You should be curious about why content works, constantly discover current ideas and formats, and be comfortable taking ownership of execution.

What You'll Do
Manage day-to-day social media across Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars.
Develop ideas for reels, carousels, stories, static posts and campaigns.
Write captions, hooks, scripts and social copy.
Coordinate, schedule and publish content consistently.
Identify trends, formats, references and conversations brands can participate in.
Work with different creative directions and brand aesthetics.
Track content performance and understand what worked, what didn't and why.




Bring new ideas and experiments to the table instead of only executing assigned tasks.
Help build distinctive social media identities for the brands you work on.

Tools, AI & Content Operations
We want someone who is comfortable with both the creative and operational side of social media.
You should be able to manage the complete workflow from idea → content calendar → creation → approval → scheduling → publishing → performance tracking.
You should be comfortable working with or quickly learning tools such as:
Canva for everyday creative execution and content design.
Hootsuite or similar social media management tools for scheduling, publishing and monitoring.
Notion, Trello, Asana or similar project management tools for managing content pipelines, deadlines and approvals.
Content calendar and scheduling tools to keep multiple campaigns organised and publishing consistently.
