As a highly motivated and experienced Java Developer, you will join our DevOps Account team, which supports Tooling platforms at Macquarie. These platforms provide support to several middle and back-office teams globally.

What role will you play?
In this role, you'll collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to define requirements and work with the team on coding and testing. You will also participate in production deployment and upgrade tasks. Production support is a key learning component of the role, enabling you to engage directly with users of the system and ensure the stability of the production workplace.
You will deliver platform enhancements that follow industry best practices. Additionally, you will build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, become a subject matter expert for third-level queries and problem-solving, and ensure that quality standards and a high level of professionalism are maintained at all times.
What You Offer
4+ years of professional experience in Java development with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong expertise in Java 11+, including concurrency, memory management, and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
Good understanding of REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle).
Proficient with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP, Kafka/RabbitMQ
