About the Role
We are hiring an Accounts Intern to manage end-to-end e-commerce procurement for the company. This role is responsible for the complete cycle of purchasing items through e-commerce platforms and vendors, both domestic and international, from receipt of a purchase request through to invoice booking in Tally. The role also includes reconciliation of travel-related bookings and establishing formal processes for e-commerce procurement.
Location: HiTech Defence & Aerospace Park, Bengaluru (on-site)
Work Days: 5 days/week
Duration: 3–6 months, with potential for a full time offer based on performance
Reports to: Chief Of Staff

Responsibilities
E-commerce Procurement
Receive and process procurement requests for items to be purchased through e-commerce platforms, from both Indian and international vendors/marketplaces.
Place orders, track order status, and follow up on delivery timelines.
Receive and verify goods against the original order and specifications.
Collect, verify, and file invoices corresponding to each purchase.
Book invoices accurately and on time in Tally,



ensuring correct categorization and cost allocation.
Maintain a running procurement tracker covering request, order, receipt, invoice, and booking status for every purchase.
Reconciliation
Reconcile airline bookings, hotel bookings, and other travel-related expenses against invoices and actual usage.
Identify and flag discrepancies in bookings, billing, or charges for resolution.
Maintain organized records of all travel and booking-related documentation.
Process Setup
Establish a formal, repeatable process for e-commerce procurement, covering request initiation, approval, ordering, receipt, and invoice booking.
Define documentation standards and checkpoints to reduce errors and ensure traceability of every purchase.
Identify inefficiencies in the current ad hoc procurement approach and propose improvements.
