About Velmenni

Velmenni is a leading Optical Wireless Communication (OWC) company developing LiFi and Free-Space Optical (FSO) technologies for next-generation high-speed wireless networks. We combine communication theory, signal processing, FPGA acceleration, and photonics to build real-world optical communication systems. Our team works across the full innovation cycle—from research and simulation to hardware prototyping and deployment—creating technologies that complement and extend traditional RF-based wireless networks. This is an R&D; position. You will own the design, development, and experimental validation of physical layer algorithms for LiFi and Free-Space Optical (FSO) communication systems — from theoretical formulation and simulation through to FPGA prototyping. Publishing and prototyping are both expected.

We are looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer with wireless communication industry background to contribute and oversee designs and development of high speed wireless communication system from concept, creation, verification and integration.

The ideal candidate should have worked in RF based wireless communication industry domain preferably 3G/4G/WiFi/WiMax and should have the zeal for building new technologies with keen interest in research.
