Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (SWE IV) to serve as a senior individual contributor and technical leader on our digital platform, with a primary focus on enterprise backend systems and integrations that power patient and provider experiences across ordering, resulting, consultations, billing, and more. In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable integration and service platforms while also contributing directly to the evolution of our patient- and provider facing products.
This position will take ownership of complex features and platform initiatives end to end—from architectural design through production and ongoing iteration—working closely with product managers, engineers, and cross‑functional partners. As part of Myriad’s Digital Products team, you will help ensure our systems are reliable, extensible, and aligned with long‑term platform strategy, delivering software that supports precision medicine and touches tens of thousands of patients and providers every day.

Responsibilities:
Design, build,



and operate scalable backend services and enterprise integration platforms that support patient- and provider-facing digital experiences.
Lead the implementation of clean, reliable APIs and integrations (internal and external), using REST, event‑driven messaging, and other modern integration patterns.
Own complex features and platform initiatives end to end, from technical design and implementation through production deployment and iteration.
Contribute directly to the evolution of digital products by delivering backend capabilities that enable current functionality, improved performance, and system reliability.
Review, respond to, and help drive resolution of operational issues, escalating and coordinating as necessary

Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and operating backend or platform systems in production.
