Role & Responsibilities

Architect, configure, and manage enterprise-grade firewall policies on Check Point (SmartConsole, Gaia, Infinity) and Cisco Firepower/Firewall platforms.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced network security incidents — including IPS, IDS, DDoS, and malware detection events — with real-time remediation.
Implement and audit firewall rule-sets, NAT policies, and access controls aligned with CIS/ISO 27001/NIST frameworks.




Collaborate with NOC/SOC teams to automate security workflows via REST APIs, CLI scripting (Python/Bash), and SIEM integrations (Splunk, QRadar).
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and post-incident forensic analysis for network security posture improvement.
Document network topology, security zones, and policy change logs; deliver technical training to L1/L2 engineers and stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate or CCNA Security
Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower, ASA, IOS-XE, and Check Point Gaia/SmartConsole
Proficiency in CLI scripting (Bash/PowerShell), Python for automation, and REST API integrations
Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight) and SOC/NOC incident response workflows
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NGFW,
