About the Role: As the Inventory Unit Head, you'll lead the inventory function and manage a 5–7 member team to drive accurate, effective and timely inventory operations. Your mission: maintain high stock accuracy, ensure smooth procurement and distribution, strengthen inventory controls, and drive team productivity. This is a hands-on leadership role blending operational ownership, people management, process improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of 5–7 inventory team members, including task allocation, productivity tracking, coaching and performance management.
Own end-to-end inventory operations covering inward, outward, storage, transfers, returns, stock movement and distribution.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system stock is aligned with physical stock.
Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, excess and ageing inventory, and drive timely replenishment or corrective action.
Plan and conduct regular physical stock counts, cycle counts and inventory audits; investigate and close inventory variances.




Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, vendors and other stakeholders for smooth inventory movement and timely availability of materials.
Ensure proper documentation for GRN, dispatch, transfer, return and other inventory transactions.
Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly inventory MIS, productivity reports and operational dashboards.
Drive SOP adherence, process improvements and controls to reduce inventory loss, errors and operational delays.
Manage damaged, obsolete, slow-moving and non-moving inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
Handle team escalations, maintain discipline and build a high-performance inventory team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
