? WE'RE HIRING – SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
India Signing Hands (ISH) is looking for a creative, organised and proactive Social Media Specialist to join our team.
The person will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and management of social media activities across ISH, SHF, ISH Kids, ISH Shiksha, Sign10 and other ISH/SHF projects, including daily ISH News publishing.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, schedule and publish daily social media content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Manage the publishing of daily ISH News, along with posts, Reels, Stories, Shorts and videos for other ISH/SHF projects.
Maintain social media hygiene and ensure profiles, captions, titles, descriptions, hashtags, tags, mentions and links are accurate and up to date.
Apply SEO and platform-specific optimisation to improve content discoverability, reach and search performance.
Assist in Content Ideation and script-writing wherever required.
Monitor social media performance and prepare weekly/monthly analytics and MIS reports covering views, reach, followers,



subscribers, engagement and content performance.
Manage comments, DMs, mentions and community engagement and identify key audience feedback.
Shoot basic social media content and edit Reels, Shorts and other short-form videos.
Repurpose existing content into different formats to improve reach and engagement.
Coordinate with Project Managers, designers, editors and other teams to ensure content is received and published on time.
Update and maintain ISH/SHF websites and project websites using WordPress.
Assist with social media collaborations, creator/brand outreach and promotional activities.
Maintain organised records of social media content, creatives, published links, statistics and campaigns.
Skills & Requirements
Good working knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and other major social media platforms.
Knowledge of social media SEO, YouTube optimisation, hashtags, keywords
